Confusion Between FP and EEA2

There are some people who are confused about FP ad EEA2. One of them is me

What is the validity of FP 6 months or 5 years

What is validity of EEA 2 ( 5 years ) or is it FP if you apply from abroad

FP validity is 6 months.
EEA2 validity is 5 years.

FP is applied from aboard.

Adding on top of Vinny's, the FP is just the end result of an entry clearance process, that's it, you may think of that as a sort of simplified visa for non EEA family members of EEA citizens exercising treaty rights in the UK.
The main scope of the FP is to let you in the country, not to certify your right or residence on the long run. If you are a non visa national, you may not strictly need one.
