Interesting that this form works from the 1st of July, but it forgets to mention Croatia as the new EU member!

This is because they will probably need to use a different form the same way Bulgarians and Romanians had to do so far.

More interesting is that the form should be posted to Durham and not Liverpool. Does it mean new teams will process applications from July or is it just that Durham will take the payment and then transfer to Liverpool for processing. Will this mean quicker processing time compared to today?

Most interesting of all, there has been no ammendment to the EEA Regulation 2006.

So long as regulation 17(7) continue to be in place , such fee will be illegal by even national legislation standards, not to mention the wider illegality.

Interesting. Thanks for that, i had not seem it at all.

Nevertheless, i believe the EU hurdle, has yet to be overcomed.

I will be very surprised if this fee is able to stand the test of time.

It could be the result of government decision of further spending cuts till 2015 including the HOMEOFFICE who has to save 6.1% further.

Durham building is more bigger then Liverpool s building.

In Durham building there is more space for applicants/visitors.

So after 30 June, the Liverpool staff will not receive any more EU applications and they will solve all pending applications in this building.

I know that Croatians will probably use a different form, like Bulgarian and Romanians. But the form shows the list of the EU members, and it includes Bulgaria and Romania (and it shows a *). They could have put Croatia too!
Just the information on the EU members is wrong then![/quote]

Almost certainly not. It will add time as applications will not be processed until the payment has been taken.
