I registered on WRS in Jan 2008 and got a Registration certificate in 2009.
I have been with ASDA as a customer service ever since. Due to after birth problems after i had my first son in 2009,i was told by my GP to reduce the hours i work. I have not paid tax or NI since then because i did only 16hrs a week between 2010-2011.i went on maternity again and returned to work in september.I was told to reduce hours again because of orthostatic hypotension by cardiologist and a surgery i did.i have now been doing 8hrs weekly.
I assume i am in my 6th year counting from the first registration under WRS.

Question is,will not paying tax and NI affect my naturalization application?
My non EEA family member is in full employment.

Yes,up till now. i have 5 p60 with them,just received for 2012/13.

If you have any non-EU family members with you here or who you will bring to the UK, then please go slowly and carefully with naturalization. There are risks.

If your husband arrived at the same time, then he likely has PR also. I would suggest you both apply for PR confirmation.

Once he has confirmation that you can both feel free to apply for citizenship.

Some countries (like Austria) do not allow dual citizenship, or require that you are very careful to retain Austrian. That can be a problem if the spouse does not have PR.

Hi Firefade, Is the Law going to Change about Naturalisation? you should nt be worried about ur sister inlaw who ll aquire PR in 2015 and Bc after one year ie 2016. Pls take it slow and steady as i av nt heard of any changes to law apart from the new App Charges.
