Hi. I am a non EEA national married to an EU national, we have a son together who is an EU national as well. We wanted my mother to come and visit us in the UK, she is a non EEA national as well. Now I wanted to know wether she will be eligible to apply without a visa fee as mother in law/grandmother of EU national(s) or we need to apply for a regular visit visa and pay the visa fee.
I am staying in UK on EEA2 family permit at the moment.

It is very unlikely the the gm is dependent on your partner so entry under Eu route will not be possible. Apply for UK visit visa.
