Hi there,
I'm a non eu national (lebanese) married to an eu national (greek) and currently residing and working in the UK.
I applied for an EEA family permit in october 2012 and it hasn't been completed yet!
I have to go with my husband to visit our family/friends in his country! We will be leaving for Brussels by car an then fly to Greece and back the same way.
I tried to get a schengen visa today from the Greek embassy but they rejected my right for a visa since i don't have a valid EEA family permit (since it hasn't been issued yet!) - how can I travel?
Where can I find valid information about my right for movement? Can anyone help me please? I'm sooo desperate!

In your post, you mentioned family permit, perhaps you'd meant residence card?

For any country other than Greece, the only requirement is that you are married and that you intend to visit an EU country. For Greece, you may be required to demonstrate that you have lived in another member state than Greece and that treaty rights were exercised,
