Hi everyone!

In 2 weeks I'm going to apply for PR for myself. I have lived in UK and exercised treaty rights as a student since 5 years. I wonder what documents shall I provide in order to qualify for permanent residency.

I moved to UK with my parents at age of 18 (now im 23) and lived with them until 2012, then i moved out to different city for studying at Uni.

I was in a full time education ever since I came to UK (i have english EHIC and i only bought medical insurance in june 2013 when applying for my non-eu wife's RC)

I worked part time since april 2011 till august 2012 and from june 2013 until now , while still being in a full time education.

I guess I dont qualify for PR as i havent had medical insurance covering all 5 years (or maybe i didnt need one because for 3 years i was dependent on my father and at age of 21 (4th year ) i worked part time for over a year and now in my 5th year i work part time and have medical insurance .

Or it would that be easier and more efficient to apply for my PR as a family member who excercise treaty right (employed) in relation father - son ? I know dependency is being considered usually until age of 21 , and above in exceptional cases ( my father still transfers me money every 2/3 month so i can sort of prove im still dependent if needed , but maybe not because i was employed in 2011/2012 and 2013 , thats why im here to find out)

Are there any chances of getting PR taking in consideration the above facts ?

You should be able to combine time under both categories.

So i guess ill provide all my evidences + my fathers evidences from 5 years with our passports and let them struggle with it and pick the right ones.. Or shall i apply for 3 years as family member , then student with part time job for another 2 years and CSI during last year ? Hopefully that will work. Do I need to write covering letter explaining my situation year by year or they will figure it out themselves?
