national of the Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia or Slovenia, needed permission before they can work in the UK

Can you tell me when does the exercising treaty right start. The WRS ( Worker Registration Scheme ) certificate date or the date they actually started working ?

as far as i remember back then A8 national need to apply for WRS within 3 months of starting work.

My estranged wife started work in September 2008 but she send an application for WRS in December and received one in january 2009

My wife (also an A8 national) started working in March 2006 but registered under WRS in November 2006. To stay on the safe side we just used the latter date.

one of my work mate received WRS certificate 4 months after applying for it. But he was legally working all those 4 months

so, it's frustrating for people like him to wait 4 months extra to apply for PR
