guys i've a question

If an EU national left a job after 4 years working. Currently in Job seeker allowance for 4/5 months and also 5 months pregnant

The EU national is trying her best to find job but bad luck because 5 months pregnant no one one to hire her. 2/3 Employer ever asked about pregnancy ( i know it's illegal to ask )

anyway how long can this continue : exercising treaty right as JOB SEEKER ? as far i know 6 months is maximum

staff at job centre asking her to claim income support ... will it jeopardise estranged husband future PR application who is a NON EU national ?

oh in 4 months time it will be 5 years since registered under WRS scheme

If I may suggest, if your husband is working, why don't u 2 get CSI and you will be self sufficient based on your husband income. Because the situation you are in is a bit tricky, if you claim job seeker above 6months it might jeopardise your pr confirmation. Cos for you to still be excercising treaty rights based on maternity leave, u should be employed or self employed but on leave from work bcos of pregnancy. I don't think there is a provision in EC Law that gives the same privilege to pregnant women on job seekers.
