EEA4 Appeal. Is there a time limit to apply for one?

In the process of re-submitting my EEA4 application, I realised that in my last notice of decision (from July 2012) the appeal leaflet mentioned that the time limit will be stated on the notice of decision page. However there is no time limit stated!!
Now I am wondering if with an EEA application appeals can be sent at any time, could anyone share some information regarding this point?
