Hi all,

Is there any preference when departing France to UK via Dunkerque or Calais?

We had planned to depart via Calais to Dover, however, I mistakenly booked from Dunkerque to Dover.

Not a disaster, but had in our plans that we would request the A1 stamp from UKBA at Calais, some how thinking that at Calais they would be more knowledgeable?

What are the groups thoughts?

Same UKBA expertise at Dunkerque?

Expertise is luck of the draw my view is that you need to be forearmed with the regulations and your documentation and arrive early and be prepared to with good humour educate if required
