Help with CHEN application

I am a newbie on this website and have seen good advise given to members,I am a citizen of Congo and here in the UK illegally but have an Italian child and she possess an Italian passport,I will like to make an application under Chen.i know I need comprehensive health insurance and evidence of funds,being illegal,I can't open an account but I have enough cash on me.how do I prove I have funds.pls any advice will be appreciated

Firstly, you will be required to show evidence of the source of this income.
It cannot derive from illegal work. How old is the child? is she in school at present? where is the parent from whom the child derive her Italian nationality.

The other parent is Italian and working in the uk but he doesn't want to be with me and the child.the child is 2 years old.so how do I show I have sufficient fund since I can't open a bank statement

Well if the child's father is in the UK working, then there is no need for the child to be self-Sufficient. The child will have a right of residence as the family member of an EEA national, and as the primary carer of that child, you the mother should be able to reside too. Article 21 of the TFEU would be in play.
I know this is not strictly speaking the case of Chen, but i see no logical reason why it should not apply.
