Limit to leave UK for visiting abroad

Hi,

I am a spouse of a Swedish national and am residing in UK on permanent residence for 5 years.

I want to visit my parents in UAE. Please could you advice as to how long i can stay out of UK.

Normally upto 6 months of absence in one year will not affect your residence status.
