"self-employed original invoices"

I send all my invoices digitally, yet my invoices were rejected because they're not "original?"
How does a self employed person produce original invoices? What constitutes the requirements of an original invoice? Surely the original invoice is sent to my client?

I've spoken to my accountant and she's agreed to send me "original" payslips and invoices

Thanks. I know what I wrote. I don't see how you quoting me answers my question?
Are you suggesting that I ask my accountant to reveal what an "original" invoice might be to the UKBA?

My personal take on this is that it is muddled nonsense on the part of UKBA when and if they reject your application, you having explained all your invoices are sent electronically, the payments for which will appear on your bank statements. You will win on appeal.
Not worth entering into an aguement over . They are simply demonstrating their incompetence .
