Hello,
I'm looking for some advice regarding the documents that I need to send with the EEA2 application.
Does anybody know which documents are required?
I am the non-EEA citizen my husband is and he is self employed,
I've been living here for 4and a half years on a work visa (ALE- airline employee) and my visa will expire in a month.
I really need some advice cause I don't want to get it wrong and be refused and paying for a solicitor is just a waste of money
Please help )
Thank you!

EEA2 form is self explanatory which even list down the required documents need. Check section 12 of the form to know the evidences need for proving self employment along with other routes of excercising treaty rights there. Be informed that a non-eu national partner of a qualified EU national does not even need to apply eea2 RC which is a mere confirmation of right to live and work. Moreover, if you wish you can further extend your existing work permit to complete remaining 6 months to gain settlement if already meeting your work permit conditions.

Just a connected hypothetical queston.

Can someone who has a visa/leave to remain under immigration rules also get eea2 (if they qualify) and hold both statuses without eea2 status negatively effecting the status under immigration rules.

eg a PBS visa holder or even an ILR holder married to a eea national applies for eea 2 for the ease of travel around europe.

( I understand eea 2 status is just a confirmation of freemovment rights)
