Hi everyone,

It's my first post here and very thankful if you can help me with EEA2 application, thank you in advance!

My questions:

===letters and private health care===
How can we write cover letters(me and him each?) and support letter(friend)?

Do we need private health care?(I didn't see anywhere in the EEA2 application)

Can anyone provide examples?
I want to apply before Christmas, I have everything ready but letters..
this application is killing my brain and literally my time! that's why I'm here to ask your precious time!!
spent 2 months preparing everything!!

------below is our status------------
so my situation is I'm non-EU(Taiwanese), 5 years in the UK(2008-2013), studied(2 years English, 1 year MA) and working(PSW) now, visa will be expired in March 2014.

me and my boyfriend met in 2008, long story short, we get along and decided married in October, 2013. he's Hungarian and have work here for 5 years.

thank you very much reading it!

Is your husband a Permanent Resident holder ?

EU national can apply for PR after 5 years continues work in the UK

You don't need health care if he is working now or PR holder already

in the cover letter just write brief introduction how you two meet and got married, what your husband doing in the UK and what documents you submitting with the application

One cover letter

If your boyfriend working continuously in the UK for 5 years he can apply for EEA3 ( permanent resident ) as long as he is registered with UK home office ( Hungarian national needed to register when they started working in the UK before 2011 using a form called WRS and continue working for 12 months with the same employer but don't need if he/she was self employed )

in that case you will send EEA3 for him and EEA2 for you

hello askmeplz82,

I don't think he will bother to send eea3 :P, will only for me. so he will need to write a cover letter and I don't need to?

also another question, support letter from friend, is it needed? because we got married recently so to be considered we are genuine, it's better to have one from friend, right?

thanks for your time indeed!

If you include friend letter that's OK

If you lived together before marriage may be you can include a bank statement or bills before marriage . it's not really required but it will help your case . recently Home office even asking applicant to come for an interview but not everyone.

- some pictures together ( Holiday picture maybe if you have )

- Bills ( bank statement , telephone bills since you living together )

- One cover letter

- Passport Your/Him

- Most important his work history in the UK ( last 5/6 months payslip )

- Marriage certificate

that's all, don't send 100 of pictures or Bills or Payslips

thank you
