hi,,, i am eea2 holder and been married for more two years.. we had baby this year in august and my wife is on maternity leave, her maternity leave finish in next year april but she does not want to work after her maternity leave finish coz she wants to look after the baby and wants to do online study....
my questions are from which month i should buy insurance for her?? Do i need to buy specific student insurance or i can buy essential comprehensive insurance which covers the most ????

You should buy the CSI - private medical insurance very soon after your EEA national partner cease to work which must cover her in majority of circumstances (if student then csi only for EEA national). But i am not sure that online study will be fit in the following definition:

student” means a person who—

(i)is enrolled at a private or public establishment, included on the Department for Education and Skills' Register of Education and Training Providers(2) or financed from public funds, for the principal purpose of following a course of study, including vocational training;
(ii)has comprehensive sickness insurance cover in the United Kingdom; and
(iii)assures the Secretary of State, by means of a declaration, or by such equivalent means as the person may choose, that he has sufficient resources not to become a burden on the social assistance system of the United Kingdom during his period of residence.

If your wife comnence studies, and the studies relates to her previous work, then she doees not need a CSI, for the duration of her studies, as she retains her worker status.

no...her study will not relate with her previous study... the reason she wants to do online study is few months old baby to look after..... Is there no any concession for such mothers who has to lookafter the baby

how do you relate your course with ur previous work.
she will study some course relate to marketing or business management and in her previous work she worked in a office doing admin and sales work.... will that be related

In those circumstances, a CSI may not be required. Provided she will obtain a vocational qualification on completion of the course.
