Change of employment status after applied

Hi,
I am an applicant of EEA- Residence Card application. I am a bit confused on some issues and i would be grateful to you folks for guiding me.

I applied for UK residence card using EEA application in August. That time my EEA family member just finished university and was looking for job. I stated his employment status as 'jobseeker' in application form. Now he has been working since September 2013 and i wanted to update my application with his recent payslips.

My concerns are:

1-Should I send payslips and inform HO about change of employment status.

2- OR should i send payslips straight away without any explanation, as i wrote in cover letter when applying that he is looking for job.

3- If i should inform about change of employment status, do i have to follow some regulation or formal way of change of information in application? If Yes, kindly explain a little bit.

Thanks in advance.

As advised by askmeplz, Cover letter, payslips and more importantly ensure it is addressed to the case working team which is on the COA you received as well as make sure it is registered signed for with tracking so that you can be sure it went to the right team and whoever signs for it is accountable for its lose or not getting to the right hands.
All the best

Thanks a lot fellows.
Do you think the following statement would be enough to be sent as request of change of employment status:

"As I mentioned in my cover letter dated 14/08/2013 that my EEA National Family member is attending interviews for job. Later on, he got successful and it turned him from ‘job-seeker/unemployed’ into ‘employed’ EEA-National Family member. Hereby, I am submitting further documents in support to my EEA- Residence Card/Extended Family Member application."

Suggestions needed.
Thank you
