Am I eligible to apply for EEA Permit

I am interested to apply for EEA Family Permit.

My basic detail are given below and questions are shown below.

Age: 27
Qualifications: Graduate
Current location: Middle East
Job status: Currently employed in the Middle East
Relationship with EU Citizen: Blood Uncle (Spanish national and currently residing in the UK from last 6 months as a jobseeker). I am his Nephew.

1. Is it ok to apply & get accepted by UKBA with the relationship I am having with the EU Citizen?
2. Can I work on this visa full time?
3. I am currently in Middle East and pursuing a job, will I be able to get this category visa?
4. Initially if I get accepted in this category, I will be granted a 6 months visa than later I can apply for 5 year resident permit. Is my understanding correct on this matter and regarding a 5 year resident permit - Will it be compulsory to apply for 5 year resident permit from UK or can I apply from abroad (lets say Middle East)?
5. Does the EU Citizen (my uncle) need to prove his income or assets if I am joining him in the UK?

Any other comments and advise would be highly appreciated.

Thanks you very much in advance for your valuable answers.

Are you dependent on your uncle? I suspect not. This is from the UKBA website:
Other relatives - including extended family members such as brothers, sisters and cousins - do not have an automatic right to live in the UK. To be considered, they must be able to show that they are dependent on you.
