Hi everyone,

We submitted EEA1+EEA2 joint application on 2 Jan using the old version application form (10/2013 version) and later found out they updated the new form since 1 Jan 2014. The only difference in the form is that they include Romania as part of the EEA countries. I should have see that coming but we just didn't check the version before we send it. Now that the mistake has been made,
the question is,
Should we re-submit new forms before we get any feedback from HO?
Or should we wait for them to send us a letter requiring new submission?
Should I give them a call?
Out of date forms shouldn't be the reason of rejections, right?

Anticipating your help.

I made the same mistake last year for my eea2 application. I submitted another form. I was refused not becos i made the mistake but for insuficient documentry evidence. When the HO sent me copies of appeal bundle they sent to IAC they indicated I submitted 2 application forms.

If the application fee has been deducted and all needed documents have been supplied then the older version of form should not affect the decision.
