Dear Forum Members/ Experts,
My Spouse is an EEA national and is currently working in the UK. We intend to apply for a dependent (non-EEA national) UK visa for my daughter and self. Please help me with the below:
1) What is the process and documents required for applying under the above category?
2) Can I apply for this visa from India?
Thanks & Regards,
Sanjeev

A Family permit valid for six months is what you will be applying for from the nearest visa issuing post (British)
You will need to supply (probably certified by your spouses embassy/consul in the UK) a copy of your spouses Identity Document used to enter the UK
Your marriage certificate (of a class accepted by the your country and the UK as legal marriage)
Proof of your spouse exercising treaty rights (letter from there employer/wage slips)
Birth certificate of your child showing the dependent connection (your/spouses name as parent)
A letter from you and your spouse stating you and your child will be joining them as family members
The application is free of charge
