A question for those of you that have appealed a decision to the First Tier Tribunal; approximately how long did you wait for a hearing date after you submitted your appeal, and how far in advance were you notified of the date your hearing was set for?

You should receive your hearing date between the 3rd to 4th week after the tribunal received your appeal notice, it depends largely on your location, people who appealed in mid December in some hot spot in England are getting dates in July. There is a specific thread n the forum that shares appeal timelines you might want to look out for it.

Here is my timeline:
ILR visa application: Feb 2013
ILR refused: June 2013
Appeal submitted: June 2013
Appeal hearing date: 21 October 2013
Appeal allowed: 20 November 2013 - allowed on the base of human rights
Notice that home office has applied to upper tribunal appealing the FTT's decision: 2 December 2013
Letter stating that their application was unsuccessful and are not allowed to appeal to the upper tribunal: 11 December 2013
They did not make another application
12 weeks later ... 5 March 2014 ... still no news or sign of my papers/ passport/ visa
FTT says it is out of their hands as they have notified HO to issue the visa
All I can do is wait I guess - 13 months in total wait since ILR was refused
