Hi
I need some help. I am about to apply for Permanent Residence card (EEA 3 Form) but a bit confused about the dates.
I was registered on the WRS Scheme as I am from one of the accession states (Lithuania).
I started working in the UK on 22 January 2009 (stated on WRS Certificate) but the certificate was issued on 17 March 2009
Can I apply for the Permit now or do I have to wait until 17 March?

Many thanks

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. I thing is probably the best ask for SAR and see when was the application sent so you can see if that was in 30 days which you have to apply and then apply from the day you started work because they time to go thrue your application was up to 6 months so thats mean you can lose 6(!!!!!) months of your time.
Anyway I think you should apply 5 years from start work date.

No much point in asking for a SAR as by the time the file will be released by the HO, it would be March.

Surely you remember if you applied in time or not. If applied in time, it's the work start date.

Thank you very much. it helped a lot. i definitely posted the the application within 30 days as the employer was very strict about it. so, hopefully, there is nothing to worry about.
