Calm down :)

you worked for 5 years continuously from 2007 - 2012

Working or Self employed ?

Do you have all 5 years P60 / Payslips? if working ?

if self employed Invoice/receipt/tax records ?

If yes then you are already a permanent resident in the UK and you are eligible for British citizenship. And you don't have to worry about EEA2 ( family member resident card ). Even if he never had that EEA2 he would still be legal resident in the UK as a family member of an EU national

When you both got married and how long he living in the UK ?

If he is married for 5 years ( if married in the UK ) then he is eligible for Permanent residency
If you married outside the UK then he is eligible for PR 5 years after arriving in the UK

Do not be worried from the mere display of expiry date on EEA2 RC. If you were registered under WRS scheme and had completed the first year under WRS scheme as worker then you had already acquired PR.

The status of your non-EU partner is connected with your (EU national) activities and if you had completed your initial 1st year under WRS scheme and worked continuously for 5 years (as you already told that) then you and your non-EU partner had already secured PR, only its confirmation need to apply. Worth reading the EEA FAQs- Common questions.

What did you get for your £100? You are a little vague on specifics.

It would be a good idea to read through directive 2004/38/ec to understand your rights.

for 100£ we get about 40 min of immigration advice. few of them have said would not take our case because of myself ending employment in 2012. they say that is the tricky part
althought i did work full 5 years with no gaps ( 2007 - 2012) .
--------------------------------------
our situation
arrived uk 2006
my work started 2007 ( march)
my husband gets his eea2- 2007 ( for a year )
my husband get eea2 - 2008 ( for 5 years)
my work is ending - 2012 ( march ) because of partly maternity and partly being diagnosed with chronic medical condition
we are married for 13 years and have 3 children.
