EEA2: Just started work.. waiting for payslip or not?

Hi guys,

In the EEA2 application there are several ways identified to prove that a sponsor is working. My question is whether one of those methods (e.g. letter from the employer OR employment contract OR both) would be enough or is it recommended to wait a month to have the payslip as well? Have applications being rejected for not having a proper payslip included?

Thanks!

As long as the work is an effective and genuine activity for remuneration that's should be fine and can be demonstrated by employer and/or job contract and/or payslips. However, since the application is optional then if you wish you can wait to get few month payslips too.

A letter of engagement is specified in the directive and is perfectly acceptable. It is possible that the actual status will be checked by UKBA with the employer.

Hi,

So no problem with not sending in a payslip but DO send a work contract + a employment confirmation letter...?

Any reference to UKBA or EEA Derivative would be of great help!

Thanks for the replies guys.

EEA2 form especially its documents section itself is a guide for applicants.
