Hello
I looked up some information about this problem and so far Ive a doubt if i qualify for EEA national visa for my wife.
whole story:
Iam in UK since 2004 working and living legally.I got opputirnity to work on a cruiseship and i went for it at 2011. I met my girlfriend (that time) we spend 2 years together and last year (AUG2013) we got married in Alaska,USA. We have US marriage certificate confirm that. We decided that we dont want to work anymore for a cruise line and we wanna settle down in UK. My wife went back to Thailand and later she went to Czech republic on her Shengen visa to meet my family while we was there we went to a Czech bureau to legalise our marriage and after a while we were given a Czech official marriage certificate. I am again UK resident since DEC2013. I have a permament job with income over 22.000 pa Unfortunatelly all my P60s are only up to oct 2011 (along with P45). I have a employment letter witch states my income , payslips ,bank statement from ship, my savings etc.
Also I would like to know if my wife is allowed to work here as my employer did offered a job for her already. She is good at spoken / written english.
Iam flying to Thailand in the beginning of the march so id like to know if we actually stand a chance to get her here on EEA visa.If is worth effort and do the aplication online by myself or should i pay some Thai agent for over 400 pounds even the visa is for free of charge.

Thank you for your time folks as i kindly ask for your help.
Regards
Ondrej

Your wife may apply for an EEA family permit, if you are a qualified person.

Subsequently, she may apply for a Residence card.

Your wife may work.
