Thai partner with 2 kids - relocating to UK

Me: double passport (UK-Italian) living in Thailand for the past 7 years, own a company in UK from about an year with a relatively small monthly income but about to be increased shortly.
Her: Thai partner for the last 7 years
We have 2 kids (5 and 2 years old both holding British passports) and we're planning to relocating in the UK within 2014 and stay here for about few years.
She already travelled to UK and Europe several times in the past but only with Tourist Visas.
What kind of documents she needs for a residence card?
I really don't know where to start from, so any help would be much appreciated,
