I am currently in South Africa and have a Finnish passport and have been offered a job in the UK. The problem is that my Common Law spouse is a SA citizen and we have been living together for 3 years and we want to emigrate together.
I will not be earning the GBP1860.00 but he will have no problem getting work.
How will this affect us?

The salary requirement is not relevant under EU regulations of free movement.

She can accompany you using the EU family route if you can prove durable relationship. Not quite sure how it works to apply from SA rather than within Europe.

I am a French National living in the UK and wish to invite my non-EU national spouse to the UK to join me here so that we can live together. He is currently visiting the UK so is it possible that he can directly apply for the EEA Residence permit directly from here rather than having to travel back to his country of origin to apply for EEA FM?
