Been here for 7 yrs. wife is eu am not. Got the first 5 yrs as wife was selfemployed. On eea3/4 application 5 yrs later we were refused due to not sufficient evidence and we failed the appeal via solicitor. Then we got another 5 yrs via self sufficience route with sickness insurance in place and my permanent employment.
Question is we now bought a house. Me and my spouse are permanently employed. 5 yrs run out in 2018 now. Is there any way we can apply for a pr as we are getting a bit twitchy about the uk leaving the EU and so on. We also have 2 kids 4&6 who were both born here if it helps?
Any suggestions other than waiting till 2018?
Thanks.

start counting 5 years again. From the date your EEA family member exercising treaty right continuously without break. it doesn't have to be new resident card issued date . It can be earlier

do not worry about the UK leaving EU . You will be OK .
