Timelines for EEA FPs?

If someone is told 15 days, and the overseas consulate blows by that with no reason, is there recourse against delays?

Doubt it. I'm sure they didn't tell you it would take exactly 15 days. They will just use the excuse that they have to check your documents etc etc.

Might want to ask Your Advice Europe what they think (search for their site in Google) and, if it's been a crazily long time, you could always drop a complaint to Solvit...but that will take ages.

I would drop the Embassy in question a line noting that the EEAFP should be issued quickly. Also, remind them of your travel dates if they are close.
