From PR to citizenship - what docs?

As my wife has just received her PR document (on the basis of me exercising my treaty rights, we applied using EEA4).

I know she now has to reside in the UK for a further 12 months (not leave for over 90 days etc)

As she is a permanent resident, I understand her citizenship application will be fully "hers" ie not dependent on my status at all?

She is now unemployed, not claiming any benefits, not studying, basically a full-time mum :) - how would she need to prove her UK residence then (with no proof of employment, I mean)?

Thanks!

M

As a general rule, one can proof residency with proof of address i.e Bank statements, utility bills and so on.

Normally for naturalisation applications, the Nationality team is satisfied with a passport to prove residence. It sometimes different for people under the EEA route as their passports don't get stamped but I would just submit a passport. If further evidence would be required (probably not as she has a PR card so she has proved residence once already), they will write to you asking for it.
