EEA Family Permit amidst speculations of a ban

Hi folks,

I would like to apply for the EEA family permit for my family(I, my polish wife and son) to visit the UK for a week for holiday and site seeing. I have visited the UK in 2008 on a tourist visa from Cyprus. I didn't over stay. I returned to Nigeria to apply for a student visa to return to the UK. The agent I contracted messed up and used a suspicious tax certificate. The student visa application was refused and in turn the valid visa I had was cancelled without prejudice.

After that, I was heart broken. I picked myself and returned to Cyprus. In 2009. I got a student visa to Poland. Before leaving to Poland, I applied again in Cyprus for a visitor visa which was refused based on the fact that ECO isn't sure I have adequately proved the ownership of the money in my account and there not satisfied. I am currently married to a Polish woman and we have a 2 years old son. I have been married for 3 years now.

I would like to visit the UK with my family and I am not sure if I have been ban or not. I wasn't informed in both places(Nigeria and Cyprus) if I have been ban. I got to know that a lot of people are not being told they are on ban.

What are my chances in applying for a EEA family permit? Like I said, I am not sure if I was ban or not. Nothing of such was stipulated in the refusal letters.

Any suggestion? Thanks for your time.

Previous record of this sort does not affect your rights under the EEA regulations (EU Law). You will be fine.

Thanks dalebutt,

So technically, it means even if I was ban, it shouldn't affect my EEA family permit application in anyway ?
