EEA2 application payment - card swallowed

Hi there
We are in the process of applying for EEA2 for my husband but (of course) his bank card was swallowed by an ATM on Saturday - we sent our app on Thurs. The card has been cancelled and a new card will be issued by the end of the week. So - does anyone know if there's a way to contact the HO and change the card payment details via phone?
We really don't have time for them to send the stuff back when the payment is rejected and then to re-send everything

Any experience with this, or any advice?

I think you will have to wait to receive the application back, because the application won't be registered if UKBA has not received payment, no matter how much you call them it will be almost impossible for them to locate whose application it is exactly.

Email them on:
Furthernationalityenquiries@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
Provide full details about the applicant and let them know what you want happened. You could request them to call you to take payment again. Of course you could write to them and send a postal order?
They did this after they said that they couldn't collect payment from my card (in a British citizenship renunciation application). I email them and they called me within a few days and took payment over the phone.

Hmmm - do you know how long it'd take for them to send docs back?
