MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE FOR PERMANANT RESIDENCE

hi
can someone please explain this
i am asking this for one of friend
there situation is
uk citizen exercised treaty rights back in uk and Obtain RC FOR NON EU SPOUSE SURINDER SINGH THEY WERE MARRIED IN NON EU COUNTRY NOT IN UK.
THEN THEY MARRIED IN UK REGISTRAR OFFICE TOO.
WHEN APPLYING FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE which marriage certificate they need to send the first one which they send for residence card or uk one .
as the first marriage certificate is lost and they do not have it any more only thing they have it is photocopies.
but they have the original uk marriage certificate .
will it be ok if they send the original uk certificate for permanent residence card.with eea4 form permanent residence under surinder singh route .

Provide the original UK marriage certificate and the photocopy of the other certificate along a cover letter explaining the situation.
I believe it should be fine.

first marriage was nikah islamic religious marriage so they have to register in registrar office in uk . as they inquire in registrar office and were told thats islamic religious marriage is not valid .

Ok. That makes sense then! Southwest is probably right. Send the original for the UK marriage and then a copy of the first one!

If residence permit eea2 has already been received and marriage certificate has already provided then is there really need to send marriage certificate again when applying PR, its strange

no. you need to send it with all other required documents.

Universal Soldier: if this is the case, you can also argue about the EU pasport/ ID!
if Marriage certificate is not included, HO will more likely to refuse the application.

what i am concerned that since the marriage certificate has no expiry date and it always remain unchanged then why caseworker want to see marriage certificate again

on EEA4 IT SAYS PROVIDE DOCUMENTS RELEVANT TO YOU
AND it ask about marriage certificate
as to prove relationshipship uk issued marriage certificate will be ok .
or they have to send again the same marriage certificate nikkah nama which they send with eea2 .
this is the main question we are looking the answer for.
as home office is only asking for marriage certificate.

again, send the UK one , photocopies and cover letter.
