EEA2 - Sickness Insurance?

Hi all,

The HO requires EU students who apply for an EEA2 application to have Comprehensive Sickness Insurance. I have the following questions in this regards:

1. I am a UK resident from Holland but my EHIC is issued in the UK – can I use it for the purpose of this application?
2. If not; where can I buy CSI that is acceptable to the HO? How much will it cost?
3. Does my non-EU partner also require CSI?

I hope that you can help.

Thanks for your time!

1. No
2. Many ( WPA, BUPA, AXA, AVIVA) .. it need to be comprehensive or that cover majority of the illness
3. Depend. If EEA national is a student then it's only for him/her otherwise ( self sufficient ) EEA national both
