EEA4 APPLICATION. NEED HELP

Got married in 2004 to an EEA national.
Resident Permit Issued in 2006
Lived together until 2008.
Initiated Divorce in 2010 based on the basis of desertion.
Degree Absolute Still pending
Permit Expired in 2011.
I have my partners Payslip covering 2004 to 2009
I also have tenancy agreement showing that we live together for 2 years.
I also have my own payslips from 2006 to 2011
I wish to apply for permanent residence. what are my chances and how should I go about it. I would appreciate some advice thanks.

Why was it not renewed after 2011.

It wasn't renewed because I wasn't able to get all the necessary document required to make the application at the time. Would it be a big problem applying now? thanks for your reply

Do you have proof of her residence in the UK?
Not necessarily together.
It may not be a problem, depending on the quality of your document

As stated. I have payslips of her from 2004 -2009.
She is non cooperative but I was able to get those documents from her as proof that she was exercising treaty right in the UK.

You will have to make do with what you have.
Proof that she resided in the UK is a requirement, even though you are not required to show that you lived together as man and wife.
If you detailed the circumstance and accompany with a cover letter, you may be fine.

Thanks for your advice. Just wondering, would I be applying for Permanent residence or Retain right of residence? not sure what the difference is.

May need to seek legal advice on this.
Different criteria applies to divorce PR as opposed to family member PR. But I believe you may qualify for PR.
