Hello All,

I am a Spanish national living/working in the Uk and exercising treaty rights for the last 5 years. I want to apply EEA family permit for my wife who is a non-eu from pakistan to join me in the Uk. She will be travelling with our 3 kids under 18 who hold Spanish Passport. My question is;
1) My wife will be applying for entry cleareance from pakistan as she is Non-EU, BUT what about my kids who are EU. Will they have to apply for any sort of document at the british consulate as they will be travelling with thier mom to the UK.

I will appreciate if someone could help me with this enquiry.
Many Thanks

The children are EU citizens and dont need to apply for anything.

Thank you for a quick reply Obie.
So does this mean that i wont have to mention about my children on the VAF5 form, as they are not coming as dependents ?

Of course you don't need to mention them. They have the right to enter the UK.

In theory, I think that it would be possible. However, if you haven't been sponsoring him in his home country, I think you would have a struggle.

Someone who understands more about this will probably answer you shortly. I'm not sure how easy it is to sponsor a nephew. I'm sure you would need a lot of proof.
