EEA2 Application - credit card refused - what can I do?

Hey,

I just got a call from my credit card company letting me know that the UKBA charge for my EEA2 application was refused because it triggered a security alert.

Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh!!!!!!

Is there anything I can do or will UKBA just reject the application and send it all back to me? Is there a phone number or email address that I can use to contact them and tell them to re-apply the charges and it will go through? It would be a real pain to have to submit it all over and pay the £15 postage.

thanks...

Now wait until you receive your application back to you, then apply again with the fee.

You can try to call them on these numbers and ask them: 0151-2134566 OR 0151-2134568. I can't remember which one of them is the Home Office finance department in Liverpool, but try asking them. Ask them to take payment again over the phone - they will ask you details about the application, but they should be able to do it.

I had this problem when I renounced British citizenship so I'm not sure if the EEA application finance department is the same, but you can ask.

Good luck!
