HI ALL,
I'VE SUBMITTED TWO ONLINE APPLICATIONS FOR MY MOTHER AND FATHER TO JOIN US HERE IN UK RECENTLY. BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT SORT OF DOCUMENTS SHOULD THEY PROVIDE IN THEIR APPOINTMENT BACK HOME ( SRI LANKA), COULD ANYONE HAVE ANY KIND OF INFO RELATED TO THIS PLEASE?
ALSO DO I HAVE SEND MY WIFE'S PASSPORT SINCE SHE'S THE EEA NATIONAL SPONSOR FOR THEM?
ALSO DO THEY HAVE TO SHOW ANY KIND OF SAVINGS THEY HAVE BACK HOME?
IF WE ARE ON PARTIAL BENEFITS WHILE WORKING, WOULD THAT BE A PROBLEM?
PLEASE HELP. ANY KIND OF INFO, ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.
THANK YOU.

Well, that was not the best idea to apply before you did even some basic research!
Is this EU or UK immigration rules? Unless they are dependant on you under EU, or incapable of caring for themselves under UK, there is little chance that this application will be granted. You have not been specific about their circumstances so I am unable to elaborate.

thanks lukapooka for taking time to reply.
here let me explain everything,
I applied under EEA dependent parents. and both my parents are retired government pensioners in their 70's. both have poor health conditions & find it really hard to co-op each other on their own.
I send them money every month (about £100) and they got their pension plus my brother sends some money time to time as well.
so basically they don't fully depend on me.
also they were in Australia for a whole year in 2012 but couldn't stay longer due to visa + weather (health issues), so now I really want them to come & try to stay with me and family here in UK so I can take a good care of them and neither parties got to worry all the time.
about my self: my wife & I both currently full & part time workers + some benefits (housing, work & child tax credit), we have a 6months old child, so we get child benefit as well.
so my questions are:
1. would it be a problem that they aren't fully dependants?
2. is it ok if I mentioned both salary + benefits as our total income after tax?
3. what sort of documents I must send them?
4. do I have to send them our passports as well?
5. Is there any guidance regarding filling the on-line application (though I've already done it)
any advice would be greatly appreciated.
thank you,
kaz

So, they will not qualify for entry under the EU route.

WHY IS THAT?

Because their dependence on the EU national is the qualifying criterion for this category of residence.

So they being pensioners is the problem ? also is it possible for me to bring my parents otherwise because I'm not a EU national. just have EEA family permit (resident document)
because I've just heard that only My wife's direct relative can joint us through EEA route. but not her in laws.
could you please explain this because now I worry that I'd never be able to bring them here.

Your relatives could come too (not just those of your partner) but it seems that don't qualify based on what you have said. But that is only going on the snippets you have posted here. You should have an in-depth discussion with an immigration professional rather than asking for tips on a forum.
