Applying for second FP after living in UK for last 5 months

All-

I am hoping someone can chime in here with guidance. I am filling out an application for a second EEA FP after utilizing my first one and living in the UK for 5 months searching for a job (for various reasons I entered a month after my visa became valid). My EEA Unmarried Partner has also been jobseeking and while he has been close several times to a permanent position, has not yet closed the deal. We left 5 days before my permit expired, to come home to Sweden for holidays and for me to get a new permit.

Question:

1) We are living, rent free, with my best friend and have been for the last five months. There is no lease agreement. For section 8.9 "Your Life in the UK" it asks about where we live etc. Do I have to fill all that out? Its not an overcrowding situation, but I worry I would be denied

2) For the question about EEA Nationals Current Finances and Employment - do I have to fill out the question about Savings/Investments and details? Or how much he spends per month in living costs? I don't want to reveal how much in savings we have (considerable for this endeavor)

3) Do I need to include evidence of his jobseeking in the UK? That should be easy enough as he has plenty of emails for first and second round interviews with companies etc.

We chose to go this path instead of locking up passports for a month or two with the UKBA to (likely) be rejected as him as a jobseeker and me not having a way to prove my ability to work in the UK. Essentially if we don't get jobs by the time this second permit runs out then I think we will be reassessing the validity of staying in the UK.

Thank you!
