hi

i am a sister of an EU national living in the uk. I've been living in the uk for about 8 years as Student depended. We never tried to get EEA route before because we didn't know. recently my husband's human right application has been refused. I used to get financial support here from my brother every now and then. but there is no proof that he sent money to me when i was in my home country 8 years ago. currently we don't have work permit and with 2 kids we are heavily depended on my brother financially.

my questions are
1. how to process with EEA2 application?
2. r we eligible to apply in this route?
3. Is it acceptable to provide current bank statements to proof dependancy?

Regards

Did you live with your brother while you were in the UK? Is that reflected in your HO records for previous applications?
If the answer is no then there is no real prospect of being an extended family member under EEA.
The other questions that will pose an issue is the fact that you have probably lived a independent life in the UK under the student route that would be used to demonstrate that you were not reliant on your brother.

If HR appeal has failed then trying to use the EEA. Route thereafter is no more likely to suceed..
