EEA RESIDENCY QUESTION

Please I need help with this question. I am due to apply for my nationality in Belgium in 2yrs but I have moved to the UK to look for a job while I wait for the nationality.
I have an EEA family permit visa which I am using at the moment. My question is this: I would like to apply for the resident permit here in the UK but I do not know if it will affect my chances of my nationality in Belgium in 2years time.
