Hello board,
To support Non-EU family member the EU national should exercise its treaty rights like self sufficiency, self employment etc. How about if EU national has not paid NI contributions and income tax of last 1.5 years of her past self employment but during that EU national in her other personal UK bank account has reasonable savings and CSI insurance too to cover all family members. Than whether not paying self employment taxes but having reasonable funds with CSI can still make EU national a qualified person on the basis of self sufficiency??

One wouldn't necessarily have to pay NI contribution in order to be self-employed. It would depend on a number of factors such as your level of earnings, how many hours you work and how regularly you work.

EU national worked nearly 50hours self employment but not paid taxes but no bailiff order came yet. But eu national in personal account always have reasonable savings with csi insurance, does the eu national still self sufficient.?

I guess that non-paying tax but having reasonable funds with private medical insurance still make EU national self sufficient and a qualified person. Usually such things ukba strictly check for people living on category under uk pbs system where demonstrating earnings to get points are needed. I think in this case the EU national self sufficient but might face problem when after getting permanent residence going to upgrade it onto British citizenship. Other experts correct it if its wrong.

I don't know about tax and self-employment but surely 50 hours of work would have generated taxable income? If you earn enough but don't pay tax on income, isn't that just cash-in-hand? I'm not sure if cash-in-hand income can be considered legally-derived income in which case I'm not sure if that could be accepted as funds for self-sufficiency if that's where the funds came from. I may be wrong but that's just my thinking.

Eu national is self sufficient on the funds/income of its non-eu national family members which can visibly be demonstrated from the regular transfer of funds into eu national account then?

^^ Well that scenario is different, in which case that should be no problem for proving self-sufficiency
