EEA National Treaty rights.

Hi all,

I am applying for my EEa4 and my partner and I noticed that he was unemployed for about 4 months last year. we have been living here and working since 2007. Although he was not working he was studying. Does anyone think that the health insurance would apply in his case? i do understand people who only study and need the insurance because the NHs would not cover any costs as they do not pay tax through employment. Is this a different case?

Your thoughts would be of great help.

Best

No it is not a different case, unless your husband was issued with a Registration Certificate as a Student.

Then the count starts from when he became a worker, and any break in treaty rights will need to be explained in accordance with the EEA Regulations
