EEA2 for South African marrying French in UK

Hiya,

I'm a South African woman, planning to marry my French fiance in the next few weeks. I've been here on a student visa since September 2012 (2 years) and my visa expires in January.

We want to apply for an EEA2 residence card for me so that we can stay together in the UK.

My question really relates to the minimum income. He has a permanent, full time job in London (resident here for the past 7 months), but doesn't get paid very much - £14,000 per year. I read on another thread that the normal £18,600 minimum doesn't apply for EEA nationals living in the UK. Is this correct?

Thanks, any help/advice would be greatly appreciated! :)

Hi Sheraz - thanks for replying so quickly! I've been reading through documents including the EEA2 guidance and links on gov.uk and I can't find this stated anywhere. Have they released any official documents that state this?

EEA2 form itself is a guide and if you can't find it there then it simply means that it does not apply to you? And it never be introduced for EU route applicants.
