Applied for eea weeks before marriage

Hello team, i have some challenges regarding my EEA permit application. I came to the uk on a student visa which expired on the 30th may 2014. My wife is polish and i have been dati g her since the beginning of this year and we have libed together since march. However i applied for an eea permit with my eu national partner via a solicitor (without my passport as i needed an id for the wedding) on the 28th of may 2014. Our wedding was done two weeks after my visa expired as i was expecting family then. The marriage certificate in addition to my passport and wife's letter from work was sent to the ukba to support my initial application. Three weeks after my initial application, the ukba returned my application saying they could not clear the bank payment. I immediately sent another application the next day with an enclosed cheque. After this second application, it took them
1 month to acknowledge the reciept of my application, and on the 6th of this month, i was sent a COA saying my right to work cannot be confirmed untill a final decision is made. Their reasons include: i have not provided original documentation for the following- valid identity documents for myself and my partner, evidence of relationship with eea national and sufficient evidence of my sponsor exercising treaty rights.
The coa further said that the terms of my coa will not be ammemded until they reach final decision.
Based on the first i formation i sent in, (as unmarried partners)...maybe i will not be entitled to work, but with a change in my status and additional evidence, can anothe coa be issued?
These three documents are the additional documents i sent after my marriage. Her work letter, my passport and marriage certificate.
I would like to know if it is possible to write them to request that they consider those additional documents and kindly review the terms of my coa. Please advice, what can i do? As i cannot imagine being unable to work and provide for my family for the next 4 months.
