EEA1 Documents in French? Statement from an online bank?

Hey Guys,
So me and my French partner are preparing to apply for EEA1 ( then eea2 for me ) in Croydon.
I already applied for a family permit visa ( valid until 2015 feb) from Paris to get in to the UK with him, having submitted almost all the documents they ask for eea1.
My question is ,
Can we use documents that are in French ? ( of the property we have in Paris and our marriage certificate etc)
We are applying as Self Sufficient,My partner is using an online bank , we gave the UK embassy here , only a print out of his balance. Would this work in the UK ?
Do we need to show a tenancy agreement? ( We just Arrived and staying with a relative at the moment!)
We have an French mutual insurance ( card expires until 2014 Dec) and Carte Vitale ( basic insurance) would this be sufficient for the eea1 appointment?
So that's it,
Thank you so much for your help!

Hi Lemonhope,
French documents should be translated. They may have issues with online printed bank statements, at least I had this problem. As for a tenancy agreement, I would think at least some sort of proof that you are both living here together.
For the insurance, I am not sure about what you have now but I would recommend you get a broker, make sure he gives you a quote specifically stating that it is "comprehensive sickness insurance." Submit this, along with the contract for the policy and clear indications that payments for it are coming from your account.
Since you have a family permit that's good until 2015 you don't have to rush these things.

Thank you so much Tristan,
I just asked about French documents, because we submitted them in French at the UK embassy in Paris, even-though they asked translations to English on the guidance page.
I would think that some people can understand French there as we will use the same-day premium service , but I guess you're sure that's not the case?
Also the bank statements are pretty standard on that issue.
I've read in the other forms that someone didn't even translate from Italian but explained themselves.

You simply need to show evidence that the EU person is self sufficient, and that you have medical insurance.
You do not need to provide any information about your lease or rental contract. How you decide to spend the money you have is not an issue for the home office.
Remember that they have already approved the EEA Family Permit. The Residence Card is "optional"

I think a lot of it will dependant on how reasonable the case worker you get is. I submitted all documents that I felt were reasonable but still got refused at first, I had to submit a reconsideration and that resolved the matter within two weeks.
Still, to save you a possible headache I would say provide as much as you can to show you are living together, the relationship is genuine, you clearly have the insurance you need, where your money is coming from and anything else you feel relevant, all as clear as possible.
If you're EEA is here as an employee I think it's rather easy, but if here as a student, self-sufficient or self-employed seems to be more difficult. But that's just my experience and what I've heard from others.

Thank you so much for your comments !
I decided to get the documents translated by my friend who speaks fluent French and English , as they aren't asking for a certified translation by a professional and basically save 350 €
They have their own translators anyway if they want to check, I've read.

I will only get out marriage certificate ,bank statement , and perhaps that we receive income from two of our apartments . I think they want to see sources of income.
Do we need to show a tenancy agreement as we just moved here and staying at a hotel.
And about the online bank statement , there isn't any way to get an official paper from them as they are only online. , how did you eventually prove ?
May I ask which comprehensive sickness insurance have you used ? I will get one now but there a lot of options, obviously I want one that I can cancel if I get a no.
Thank you soon much!
