Naturalisation as EEA family member..

I just need to clarify a few things. This is my story

I moved to the UK in February 2007 on a working holiday visa valid for 2 years. Met my wife ( an EEA national) and we got married in November 2008. Received my residence card in July 2009 valid till July 2014. Automatically qualified for PR in November 2013( according to the rules) but only made the application for PR in July 2014 and got PR in August( ya it was pretty quick, I kid you not). My question(s) is:

1. According to the guidance notes in the naturalisation booklet, you would need to have lived in the UK for continuous 6 yrs to apply for BC if you are an EEA national or a family member. That's the 5yr qualifying period plus 1 year of holding the PR. Since I now have the PR, would I still be able to apply for BC after November 2014, seeing that would be 6 yrs been a family member of an EEA? And if yes, do I need to provide them with the same documents I did when applying for PR i.e my wife's passport and her other details?

I am aware that I could alternatively wait till next August to apply, but just wanted to check if this could be done sooner.

Some assistance to this effect would be appreciated.

Check the FAQ (link below). It's covered there.

In short, possible. You need to provide treaty rights evidence again.

Thanks Jambo for your reply. It's cleared things and I will possibly go for opt 1 as we have evidence exercising treaty rights from my recent application for PR card.
1 final question and yes I did go through the Q&A this time :) and looked online but am still not sure about the answer. This is to do with the Knowledge of language requirement. My story is: I am going into my final year of my Bsc with UNiversity College London(part time), this will be my 1st degree. I read through the guidance notes and it says certificate of English BR1 or higher, would my current academic status qualify as higher than the BR 1 requirement? Just need clarity on this, might save me that £100 plus for the English test.
