EEA3/4 Interview

Afternoon dear forum members,
Applied for eea3/4 with two eea kids in july.
Have received interview request.
Route: employment/ self employment
I have asked them to change the venue as taking kids to school and then go to interview on time is not possible.
Anyone know if they can change the venue?
Or if we could take kids with us?
In addition is this normal practice to invite pr applicants for interview?
