Just Received RC. 2 Months 2Wks and 3Days!!

Join me my fellow EEA applicants to celebrate the issuance of my RC and find below the timescale's;
Application date : 21/08/14 .
Received and signed for at HO: 22/08/14 .
Electronic acknowledgement : 03/09/2014
Confirmation of my wife's employment via telephone call from HO : 27/10/2014
delivered on 8/11/14
(Ps: Been on holiday with the Mrs at Cornwall and only got back today to find the post office slip for an item awaiting collection !! It was entirely hassle free and to God be all the glory!!!!)

Did your EU spouse have EEA1 registration certificate when you applied?

Did they phone her at work or her employer? What proof of employment did you submit with the application?

No, they did not phone her per say but they rang her place of work to confirm. Her manager told her afterwards. Funny things is she sometimes covers the reception at her place of work and when they rang to speak to her manager, she was the one who put through the caller from HO, 3 odd weeks ago before we left on holiday.
