Outstanding EEA2 application for almost 8 months

Hi guys,
I have submitted my application in mid of April. I had home visit,which was positive as officers said they were satisfied.
But i didn't receive my decision yet. I am really in a desperate situation i need to travel but i know i would not be able to come back to UK without Resident card. Can somebody please help me what shall i do ???
